Basic office etiquettes

Research states that we spend 9 number of human hours at our workplace per day = 198 hours per month = 2,178 hours per year. Given the statistics, this equates to 25-50% of our annualized life at work. This speaks very highly of our livelihood and place we devote our time most. Therefore, this further command basic courtesy, hygiene and etiquettes. While being on time, attentive, a good listener, smart, proactive & clear in communication are a few of the glaringly obvious etiquettes, there are a variety of guidelines one can follow that will make the office environment a better place.
